Member of Technical Staff — Hardware Engineering.
Lead hardware bring-up, qualification, reliability, and vendor engagement for the AI Factory at scale.
At NEYON AI, we engineer the physical and hardware foundations of hyperscale AI Factories. In this role, you will lead hardware architecture, board-level qualification, thermal dynamics, and high-speed electrical interconnect evaluation.
Key responsibilities
- Hardware strategy and roadmap. Define and execute the hardware infrastructure and validation roadmap.
- Hardware reliability. Ensure server, rack, liquid cooling and power delivery systems operate within stringent tolerances.
- Diagnostics and bringup. Implement telemetry instrumentation and automated physical layer diagnostics.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years hands-on experience in high-density server hardware design or datacenter physical engineering.
- Proven experience in PCIe Gen5/6, liquid-to-chip cooling loops, and high-power density racks.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with multi-rack InfiniBand, RoCEv2 switching, and optical transceiver telemetry.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated base salary range for the Member of Technical Staff (MTS) role is $150,000 – $300,000. A candidate's placement within this range depends on their depth of technical expertise, relevant experience, and the specific scope of the role determined during the interview process. In addition to base salary, NEYON AI offers a total compensation package that includes equity / stock options, medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off (PTO) and company-observed holidays.
